I’m So Lazy

Yet another photo from the weekend.

Yesterday at work I got an email about free plants that the horticulturalist was giving away. I ended up with two flats of salvia and some milkweed. I also got three Thai chili plants, and a few other flowers. It was funny driving home, I had a tv that Sara’s dad had given us in the backseat and every other free spot filled with plants.

This afternoon I potted some of the flowers and planted the chilis in a big container. I’ll post some pictures of our patio tomorrow.

More from the weekend

This is another shot from the festival over the weekend. I thought it was a pretty good candid shot.

Bubbles

I worked on Sunday for the Butterfly Festival we were putting on at work. My mom came out to help with photos. She took a bunch and after checking this morning, I noticed I took over 500 photos.

It’s Been Storming Lately

But some blue sky is starting to show through.

Time to Move

My apartment management have put these fliers up around the complex. Apparently they like to fly cash in front of me. I’d really like to talk to whoever typed that sentence.

But in all seriousness, it looks like I will be moving within a month. Greenville doesn’t have anything left for me, so I’m going to head down to Atlanta and look for some opportunities there. I’ve been applying to jobs anywhere around Atlanta. This complex has just about driven me crazy at times, from the neighbors next to me who have fights in the middle of the night to the toddler that screams/screeches 24/7 below me, to the old neighbor that ran into my car while I was stopped. It’s time to go.

Ideally, I’d be able to find jobs and a decent house to rent, but as of right now, everything is up in the air. I’m trying to stay positive about it though.

A Bike Commute Story

Yep. Bike commuting is fun. Cars are not.

Sorta Spring, New Lens

It might not be the best photo I’ve ever taken (it was early this morning and I didn’t have the camera on a tripod), but I love this new lens my mom gave me. Thanks mom!

In other news, I’m still searching for jobs. I have hope that I’m going to at least get an interview soon.

Spring Is Soon

I went to IKEA the other weekend, and I grabbed some basil and parsley. I started the seeds on Sunday the 28th, and this is what the basil looks like as of yesterday.

When I woke up this morning, it was 50 degrees outside so I decided I’d ride my bike to work for the first time this year. I miss riding my bike.

I’m glad winter is on the way out and I’m ready for warmer weather.

New Job, New Computer, Old Computer

I moved jobs within my company, and had to give up the nice laptop that I had been using. My new computer is ancient, and when I fired it up and tried to open a PowerPoint file, I was reminded of something I hadn’t seen in a while. Sorry about the over-compressed jpg, I had to edit it on MS Paint. Yes.
