Data, Specifically Mine

It’s interesting to think how much of my life is documented. Through Facebook, Gmail, my Garmin GPS watch, and an iPhone alarm app I use, and photos I take, there’s not much left out. I’m not sure how I feel about that really. Privacy, blah blah, blah. Anyhow, take a look at some of it!

My run yesterday morning:

Data from me sleeping last night:

Went to bed: 11:53 Woke up: 5:48.
Total time: 5h 54m

Actually I’m at a loss as to what else to post. Oh, a photo.

I walked over this. Data!

Running and Data

This never gets old.

Unless something has gone terribly wrong, I should currently be running the Soldier Half Marathon in Columbus, Georgia. I figure this is as good a time as any to talk about how I keep track of my running. Or something like that.

I’ve been looking around for the best system/notebook/whatever to document data from my life. I have a terrible memory, and I really would like to have a system, preferably physical and not on the internet, of documenting what I do, how I feel, and what happens each day. That way I could track patterns in my life or possibly end up adding it all together, like in this video:
