A small portion of the desserts available.

I drove down to the Dekalb Farmers Market yesterday.

It’s a great place to shop for fresh (and really cheap) produce, and they have a really good lunch bar as well. I got a ton of vegetables (I been eating probably three times the average family’s amount of vegetables per week [this is based on basically no real info whatesoever!]) for about $30.

One of the bonuses of going there is the huge variety of desserts they offer. I’ve tried a few different types so far, and this trip was no different.

Yesterday I got a chocolate mousse cake (which was smashed on the way home),

an almond horn with chocolate,

and a chocolate croissant as well.

After getting home I was still pretty tired from Saturday’s half marathon, so I took it easy and watched the Hangover for the second time. I made some Crisp Noodle Cake with Stir-Fried Greens and Shrimp and had a great seasonal beer from New Belgium, 2° Below.
